POWERCHINA International Group Limited Inquiry Bidding for Local Design Consultancy Services of the Office and Living Base Construction Project of POWERCHINA East & Southern Africa Headquarters (Phase I)

 

Due to the Office and Living Base Construction Project of POWERCHINA East & Southern Africa Headquarters (Phase I) needs, PowerChina international Group Limited adopts inquiry to select Local Design Consultancy Services agency. Tenderee-owner fund will be used to pay for this contact.

1.        Intent

1.1 Qualification

Tenderer who is local designer consultancy services agency must registered with the Board of Registration Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS) and have related experiences. Tenderer personnel related to this Project shall meet professional requirements specified by laws and regulations in Kenya.

1.2 Request for Inquiry

­   Approval and tree cutting on site as agreed with Tenderee

­   Preliminary inquiries and sharing Local Design Standards

­   Advise on MEP codes and checking compliance

­   Checking drawings done by Tenderee for compliance with Local Standards and for adequacy of information before submission to Nairobi City County (including printing internal check prints)

­   Signing submission drawings, providing architects’ and engineers’ practicing certificates, uploading drawings to NCC online portal for their review and approval.

­   Follow up with NCC on approval progress and updating

­   Preparing Project Environmental Impact Assessment and submitting to NEMA for approval before commencement of construction.

­   Monthly checking on site to ensure adherence to approved drawings. 

­   Signing of Occupation Certificate application forms

­   Provide assistance pertaining to approvals and local standards during the design and construction

2.  Quotation Request

Please send the Form of Quotation as request and the Total Price should include VAT.

3.   Acquisition of the Bidding Documents

3.1 Interested bidders may purchase the Bidding Documents on the Bidding and Purchasing Public Resource Trading Platform of PowerChina from Nov. 22, 2019 to Nov. 25, 2019 (working time at Nairobi). 3.2 Each set of Bidding Documents is sold at RMB 0. 

4.   Submission of bids

4.1Deadline for submission of bids from Kenya is Nairobi Nov.29, 2019, 10:00am (Nairobi time). Please submit the Quotation documents by Email. 

4.2 Late bids will be rejected.

This Notice to Public shall be simultaneously opened in website of Bidding and Purchasing Public Resource Trading Platform of PowerChina (http://bid.powerchina.cn/en)
