The Public announcement period for the design bid of PowerChina International East & Southern Africa Department headquarters office Project (Phase I) has ended, the results of this tender is published as follows:

I.         Brief Description of the bidding Project

The project locates in the East to the junction of DAGORETI and Warai S, Karen County, 12km west of Nairobi, Kenya. The project covers an area of 42,411㎡ and is proposed to be constructed in two phases. The objective of phase I is to build office buildings for 256 staff, living areas for 224 staff and supporting facilities, as well as living, fitness and amusement facilities. The construction investment of phase I should be controlled within 22 million US dollar (exclusive land purchase fee).

The bidding scope confirm that the improvement of the overall conceptual design of the base, expanded preliminary (basic) design (including design estimates, interior decoration design and furniture layout) and construction detail design of phase I works (interior decoration design and furniture layout). 

II.      Bidding status

The invitation for bids has been published simultaneously on the Bidding and Purchasing Public Resource Trading Platform of PowerChina (http://bid.powerchina.cn/en) and China Tendering and Bidding Public Service Platform (http://www.cebpubservice.com) on the 20^th December 2018, has now completed the opening of bid, evaluation of bid, and the bidding award publicity.

III.   Bidding Award

It is confirmed that The Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tsinghua University CO. LTD is the Bid Winner.

IV.   Publicity period

From 19^th March, 2019 to 25^th March, 2019

If any of the parties concerned has any objection to the award of the bid, may raise the objection during the publicity period. After the deadline objections will not be accepted.
